Here’s our exclusive sit-down with class-of-2027 Gavin Bermudez (Fairfax, VA.), who was crowned MVP at numerous showcases and tournaments.

GB: Gavin Bermudez.

MSE: Basketball strengths?

GB: IQ, shooting, scoring, passing, handles, defense.

MSE: Improving?

GB: Moving without the ball and consistency.

MSE: What’s next?

GB: Working on getting ready for HS basketball, strength and explosiveness.

MSE: High school you attend?

GB: Katherine Johnson Middle School.

MSE: Any parent played sports?

GB: Dad, Grandpa, Grandma, two Aunts all played high school and college ball, and also my cousin recently played DI college ball for NJIT.

MSE: AAU team?

GB: NOVA94 where I start at the PG spot.
