Young Bull

Class of 2025, Carmelo Swinson from Portsmouth, Virginia gets double teamed and face guarded most games. He is a difficult player to ball deny on the inbound pass or shot. He can shoot off the dribble with good ball handle, court vision, and size.

Swinson attends Parkview Elementary School where he has been on the honor roll since third grade.

Academics is second nature to Swinson whose father says “balancing education and hoop is easy because he knows it’s a marriage.” He manages to still work on his game five days a week.

The fourth graders dream college is the North Carolina Tarheels, but he wants the NBA for his final pit stop.

“No matter how good you are if your grades not right u can’t play.”
