Class of 2021 Myeles Malbrough (TX) Mans Up

image8th grade, 6’0″, Myeles Malbrough from Texas is enrolled at Lamar Middle School in Flower Mound, Texas where he’s an A-B Honor Roll student.

Malbrough is an outstanding left handed ball handler with 3 point college-range shooting ability. He’s explosive off the dribble, and able to score at will or involve teammates.

Malbrough dad stands 6’7″ and his mom is 5’9″. His anticipated growth is 6’6″ to 6’8″.

Class of 2021 Malbrough hopes to be a future NBA All Star.

image3rd grade, Kyle “Kai” Perez, from the city that never sleeps, goes to P.S. 42 in Manhattan, New York. He currently plays for legendary Riverside Hawks AAU program.

The young floor general has a silky-smooth handle and jumper, plus ability to score near the basket. With ease, he is able to locate open teammates in transition or half court. He is a feisty defender, too.

Class of 2026 Perez’s desired school is UCLA, and wish is to become a successful businessman.

image7th grade Jordy Morales is from the Sunshine state and attends Miami Lakes Intermediate School in Florida.

Accomplished Morales is an unselfish point-guard with sound ball handle and shot selection. He likes involving teammates and playing to win.

He hones his craft in the gym daily, and hopes to play high major college hoop and professionally. Sky’s the limit for young Morales.

imageClass of 2022, JaRon Ratliff, native of Portsmouth, VA has a quick-trigger jumper as well as good ball handling skills. Honor Roll Ratliff attends Waters Middle School.

Despite a diminutive stature, 12-year-old Ratliff is wiry with long arms. He is left handed, ambidextrous, and usually finishes with a trademark floater. He is a willing passer and persistent defender.

College coaches might offer Ratliff later on if he continues working hard.

7th Grade Sky Clark is West Side King

West Side Sky 

imageSome people say “Sky is the best seventh grader on the west coast” and “he makes the game look easy”.

Class of 2022, Sky Clark reigns supreme in California with an elusive west coast style game. He’s crafty off the bounce around the rim, and able to step back and shoot the three, and stop and pop on the elbow.

Clark has excellent court vision and passing ability to create plays within the lane. In triple threat stance he uses ball fakes to beat defenders with a quick first step.

Making Makaen 

imageClass of 2023, Makaen Hastings captured 6th grade MVP at the 2016 MSE Missouri camp, and continued his showmanship at the MSE All-American Game in Ohio this past weekend.

Energetic Hastings dribbles with his head up on fast breaks while surveying the floor.

He is an efficient decision maker in transition, and ball distributor from the perimeter. He is vocal on offense, directing traffic, and does not loaf on defense. Stay tuned for more of phenomenal Hastings in 2017.

imageFifth-grade, Nino Nesbitt (Ohio) received extensive ink in this exclusive article: Class of 2024 Nino Nesbitt is Hard to Guard. Since then, his game and popularity nationwide has only risen.

To spark the 2017 hoop New Year, Nesbitt put on a spectacle at the MSE All American Game in Blacklick, OH. He selected his shots and connected teammates with precision passes.

Also, Nesbitt aggressively penetrated the lane, using head and ball fakes, and hesitation moves. He has a wicked ball handle and quick first step to create space. He’s a team player who relishes embarrassing opponents.

Keep an eye on tough Nesbitt as he looks to take the exposure circuit by storm.


3rd Grade Kailyn Stone Hopes for the NBA

imageClass of 2026 Kailyn Stone from Indiana attends Brook Park elementary, where she is a straight A student.

3rd grade Stone is a smart and athletic combo guard with shooters touch. She is an elite defender with length, and mentally and physically tough. Stone’s basketball skill and IQ compares to boys her age.

Stone’s trainer said, “She has leadership qualities and always goes above and beyond to help the next person.”

Her dream college is UConn. And she wants to be the first woman to play in the NBA.

image5th grade Mason Pulliam from Virginia goes to Winterpock Elementary School, and has been accepted into the academic gifted program.

Ambidextrous Pulliam is crafty with the ball especially creating around the rim. He is an unselfish team player who prides himself on the defensive end.

Pulliam’s dream college is Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). He aspires to be a sports commentator.

image2nd grade Bryce O’Shea Gary from North Carolina is fresh on the scene. He attends Invest Collegiate Charter, where his favorite subject is math. He’s an Honor Roll student, too

Gary has excellent court vision, ball handle and decision making prowess. And he plays suffocating defense, and is astute at making steals in the passing lanes.

Gary’s dream colleges are North Carolina, Syracuse and Kentucky, and career ambitions are to become a Doctor, professional basketball player, and sports franchise owner.

image6th grade Jason Lagana from Pennsylvania is a standout football player and track athlete. He attends Skyview Elementary and achieves mostly A and B grades.

Lagana is a highly competitive combo guard who rotates the ball to his teammates first, and then asserts himself offensively.

He prides himself on his athletic ability, and has tremendous confidence in himself and his game. He can also impact the game without having to score by playing defense.

imageClass of 2022 Jaylen Lucas aka J.Luke is a Louisiana-bred two sport athlete, playing for Houma Junior High School, as youngest player on both the basketball and football team. He’s a 3.0 G.P.A.

Talented Lucas is a strong and shifty guard who makes teammates better. He relishes playing tough defense and stealing passes on the court like catching interceptions on the field.

If Lucas significantly grows taller, he could be a Division I proper in either chosen sport.

image5th grade Chris Coleman Jr. aka ‘The Baby’ from Louisiana is a year round basketball player having multiple trainers for different aspects of development. He’s a quality student athlete with A-B grades.

Ten-year-old Coleman has the heart of a lion. During a game, he had two teeth knocked out but kept playing normally.

Coleman’s coach said he never backs down from opponents and “gives 100% effort in games, even practices.”

However, The Baby appears to be instead a man-child. What college will junior attend in several years?

imageClass of 2026 Mashad Griffin from Memphis, Tennessee is unbelievably skilled for his age and has a high potential ceiling. He attends St. George Independent School, where he’s an Honor Roll student.

Top-10 player Griffin scores crafty at the rim, and has a deadly mid-range and perimeter shot. And he likes rotating the ball to create easy points for teammates.

The MSE camp alumni’s dream college is Duke University and career goal is to become a NBA player or Dentist.


3rd Grade Jonathan Jordan has 3D Vision

imageClass-of-2026 Jonathan Jordan from Missouri has exceptional skills and smarts. And 3D vision is the name of his basketball organization. He attends Discovery Ridge Elementary in Wentzville school district as an honor role student.

Combo-guard Jordan is multidimensional, playing strong both on offense and defense. He anticipates passes in the lane using instinct. Beside possessing outside shooting ability, he can penetrate gaps in the defense and score at will.

Third grade Jordan likes to rebound, fast break, and feed open man or pull up a long trey ball. Also, he can breakdown his defender and shoot off the dribble.

Jordan’s dream colleges are UCLA and Duke. And if the NBA isn’t his destiny, he wants to be a commentator or journalist for sports.

image7th grade, 6’4″, Chris Harvey from Maryland has a high-motor and IQ to push the ball in a blur. His class of 2022 travel team is the MD Jaguars, and education at Imagine Foundations Public Charter where he holds a 3.8 GPA.

Weighing 180 pounds, Harvey is extremely aggressive and efficient around the basket. He has a good mid-range jumper while strengths are size, versatility and tenacity.

Coachable Harvey’s dream college is close to home – the University of Maryland. He is going to make noise on the AAU circuit this spring and summer.
